Ring size chart (EU - US - UK - Diameter)

Average ring size for women in NL:

• Ring size: around 53-56 mm circumference (diameter ± 17-18 mm).
• This corresponds to EU size 17–18 and US size 7–8.

How should a ring fit?

• Not too tight, not too loose
  A ring should slide smoothly over your knuckle, but not so loose that it easily falls off.
  • If you can turn it without effort, but it doesn't slip off by itself, it fits well.
• Knuckle is decisive
  Often your knuckle is slightly thicker than the base of your finger. The ring should be able to pass over it without pain, but not too loosely.

Heat and cold:

• Warm fingers = slightly thicker
  In warm conditions (summer, exercise) your fingers swell.
• Cold fingers = slightly thinner
  In cold conditions they shrink.
  Therefore: measure your size at a neutral time, not immediately after exercise or in the cold.

1. Carat - Weight and points

Carat determines the weight of a diamond.

1 Carat = 0.2 grams = 100 points
A 0.50 ct diamond is also called 50 points.

For rings, earrings, and necklaces, the carat weight impacts the appearance; the more carats, the more striking, the fewer, the more subtle. This is always a personal preference.

It is important to remember: a well-cut 0.50 ct diamond can sparkle more than a poorly cut 1.00 ct diamond. That is why with us, you always get the best cut for the most brilliance.

2. Color - Why you prefer DEF

Diamonds are graded from D (colorless) to Z (light yellow).

Why is it important for jewelry?

For rings, bracelets, necklaces, and earrings, a DEF color provides the clearest and most luxurious appearance. This is unparalleled. 

3. Clarity - How much do you see with the naked eye?

The diamonds we use have the ideal balance between price and quality. 

4. Cut - The key to brilliance

The cut is often underestimated, even though it determines what we find beautiful about diamonds. It is the cut that makes or breaks a diamond.

The so-called cut is the most important aspect of a diamond and determines the extent to which your diamond sparkles or is a dull stone.

1. What is the difference between lab-grown and natural diamonds?
   Physically, there is no difference. They have exactly the same chemical and optical properties. So what is different? One comes from the earth and the other from a diamond lab.
   
   
2. How do I choose the right carat / diamond?
   With us, you are guaranteed to get the best diamonds; the size of the stone and the shape are personal choices. 
   
   
3. Do I get a certificate with my diamond?
   Yes, for diamonds above 1ct, unless otherwise specified, you will receive a certificate from the IGI or GIA institute. 
   
   
4. Do my diamonds retain their value?
   When you sell a diamond, whether earth-mined or lab-grown, it will always be worth less than when you bought it. However, given the large difference in purchase price, despite the lower residual value of the lab-grown diamond, it will still have been cheaper, so you are better off with a lab-grown than an earth-mined diamond.  
   
   
5. How do I know for sure that my diamond is good?
   We only select diamonds with F color, Hearts & Arrows (excellent) cut, and VS1 clarity. This ensures that you have a diamond that sparkles maximally and belongs to the absolute top in terms of optics and color.
